Thanksgiving 2012

Today is Thanksgiving and I have to say its been a great day. Last night the pawrents were talking about what they were going to do today. Since my grandma was going to Louisville to be with her family and my ma maw was not wanting to travel, they decided to do something entirely different. They called the President of our Humane Society and asked if  we could bring home some of my fur friends. If ma wants to bring one home she just goes and gets them and then let's the staff know that she has them but we wanted more than just one. We jumped in the van and off we went to get my friends. We got Prissy, Charlie, Zoey and Bentley and we brought them home. Oh the fun began. We ran around the yard, we wrestled, we pulled out all the toys and we partied like we were big dogs.

Scooby, Prissy and Bentley all loved running in the leaves

Zoey loves playing in the Leaves

She wouldn't stay out of them. Then she would stick her tongue out at Ma .

Scooby stuck his tongue out to Zoey

Zoey and Bentley played a game of Chase
We all were running around and playing with each other.

Then dad got in the kitchen and started cooking and all of a sudden Bentley stopped playing and started sniffing the air.

Oh my dawg ,what is that good smell??!

Charlie was all smiles when the food smell filled the house

Charlie was licking the air because it smelled so good.
Prissy was also wondering what it was that smelled so good.

Dad finished dinner and it was time to carve the ham and Chickyum

While the family ate my friends just laid down by the table but they never begged for food.

I laid under ma's chair. I know its rude to beg at the table.
After we all got our part of the meal we played a little while and then it was time to take a little nap.

Bentley says that was good food.
Zoey found herself a comfy place to sleep. Right on Sissy Sarah's lap

Prissy thought my leg was a good pillow.

Bentley fell asleep on the couch

When Zoey got up to get a drink of water , Prissy stole her place

Then Charlie snored so loud he woke everypawdy up and we all went out and played in the leaf piles some more.

So this is how I spent my Thanksgiving. I think it was a great pound puppy Thanksgiving.
Charlie , Prissy, Bentley and Zoey are all available for adoption. They live at the Owensboro Humane Society in Owensboro Ky and are ready to have a home of their own. I pray that this time next year they will all be in their own homes.  If you would like to have more information about them you can contact me or you can email my ma. Her email is Bunny@OwensboroHumane.org

Hope your family had a great Thanksgiving too.
