BW-Squirrel

squirrel eating out of bird feeder
This is mama squirrel. She is a squirrel I won't chase.
When she sits up on her back legs , you can tell she has milk.
Ma says soon she will bring the babies to our house.
She is one of our squirrels we have watched grow up.
 Eat up mama squirrel.

Thank you to our host of the B/W Sunday
Dachshund Nola

We hope you can get a picture of them once they arrive : )
...though we bet mama is going to be VERY protective of her little family.

    1. Baby squirrels are really cute. We have a set of twin babies that are in our backyard. Those are fun to chase because you never know what directions they will go. They run up the tree and start barking at ME!
      Happy Sunday

    1. I am like Truffles and enjoy the squirrels more than the birds. I think they are so cute. I seen a solid white squirrel this morning. Wish he would come to my yard. I could watch him all day.
      Happy Sunday!

  3. Grampa used to feed the squirrels a long time ago. They’d come and eat out of his hand. One day one came right in their window and chased Faith around the house. MOL! We don’t have them up here.

    1. 3 yrs ago ma had a squirrel that would eat out of her hand. It would scratch on the door when it was ready to eat in the morning. I guess the squirrel either passed away or found a new food feeder but it didn't come around last year.

    1. I could share squirrel photos all the time. We have 6 squirrels that frequent our yard. Those baby squirrels are a hoot to watch.

  5. You must have ironclad willpower! Pierre would have to chase the squirrels because, it is what he does. He has scared all of our squirrels away. (He NEVER catches them)

    1. I do. I can be outside when they are out there and if ma says no squirrel I will just sit there and watch them. I just look forward to when she says "get em!" I get to chase them but I never want to catch them. The chase is fun enough for me.

  6. Bailie and I don't care who the squirrel is, they are all fair game in our minds, but we have yet to capture one.
