Nominate Your Pet's Vet for the 2016 PetPlan Veterinarian Awards

Last year, PetPlan pet insurance had their annual veterinary awards but I heard about it right at the end of the contest. I had asked them to contact me this year when the contest started so I could enter my vet.

When I found out that Petplan pet insurance would donate a $1.00 for each nomination to pets in need , I wanted to share it with my followers.

I am not being compensated for spreading the word. I felt this was a great way to  give your pet's doctor or staff the recognition that they deserve and help great pet foundations. Plus, if your nomination wins they get a wonderful event to attend.

Nominations are being accepted for the following categories:

  Practice of the Year
•Veterinarian of the Year
•Veterinary Technician of the Year
•Practice Manager of the Year
•Receptionist of the Year
•Pet Parent of the Year

You can choose from Adopt-a-Pet.comGreaterGood.org or Morris Animal Foundation to have your dollars donated. Can't decide which one you want to donate to? You can split the money between each group!

Are you ready to put your nominations in??

I know you want to know more about PetPlan Veterinarian awards. I asked PetPlan to send me a something to share with you that goes more into details about these awards.

Below is what was sent me.
ABOUT PETPLAN’S VETERINARY AWARDS
Now in their fifth year, the Veterinary Awards seek to recognize outstanding veterinary professionals from across North America — those who not only treat patients effectively, but treat them like family. The distinction is important, given that 92% of pet owners consider Fluffy and Fido to be furry family members.*

Organizers will paw through thousands of nominations in search of semi-finalists in each category, each of whom will complete a rigorous application process. An independent judging panel of esteemed veterinary professionals will then select three finalists per category, who will be announced in October.

Winners will be fĂȘted at Petplan’s Veterinary Awards Dinner, an exclusive black-tie gala hosted at Orlando’s Four Seasons Resort on January 16, in tandem with the North American Veterinary Community (NAVC) Conference. Each will receive a fur-bulous prize package that includes cash, prizes and a donation on their behalf to a pet-related charity of their choice.
