Service Dog Registration Voluntary In Michigan

In April a bill received approval in both the Michigan House of Representatives and Michigan Senate and was on its way to Sen. Knezek's desk. The bill was to protect veterans who use a service dog for PTSD and TBI. This bill would bring Michigan state laws that protect service dog handlers to be in line with the federal ADA laws. The wording had to be changed on the bill to also include non veterans who used service dogs for psychological disorders.

Ma and I like to go to the lake up the road. On this day that we went , there were some geese across the pond. When those geese seen us they jumped in the water and started coming toward us. We started walking and the geese started following.

We Were Blessed

One of my friends invited us to a event a few weeks ago and Sunday morning Facebook gave us a reminder to attend. It was a pet blessing event at the Century Christian Church here in Owensboro.

Guess what? I got blessed. Scooby also got blessed!! 

Kitty Backwash or Good To The Last Drop?

Ma has been working on the houseplants that have been outside all summer to get them all transplanted to be ready to bring in for winter. She takes all of us out with her when she goes. She says things are better when we are around. 

Having Fun And Exercising Too!

With the leaves falling and the temperatures getting cooler, we get to go out earlier to play. I like it because I don't get overly hot playing poodle ball (fetch) with ma. I could play for hours if her arm would hold out. We look forward to our outdoor time and playing together in the yard.

Mama Hawk is back with 2 of her babies. She is teaching them how to hunt. I have to stay right beside my piggies so that she and her family stay away. I have seen that hawk grab birds in the air and even had it go after the nubby squirrel. If you missed it you can read about the time Scooby and I saved the nubby squirrel
