Staybridge Suites Are Like a Home Away From Home

Last week, the company my hubby works for had a commercial show. Their shows are for area companies to come in to see what his work has to offer for all their chemical needs.
I am hubby's travel agent and try to find him the most comfortable places to stay overnight. I had booked him at the STAYBRIDGE Suites once before and he enjoyed his stay plus it was right down the road from where the show was being hosted.

I booked it again but this time got him the 1 bedroom suite since it was the same price as a regular room and I had decided to go with him. Thought maybe getting out of town would lift my spirits. I double checked the hotel and saw they were pet-friendly. I sent an email to the hotel to tell them that Scooby would be coming and I would pay the fee when I arrived. I did get a lovely letter back stating that the general manager and all the staff loved pets and she hoped we enjoyed our stay.
This is our review of the STAYBRIDGE Suites
Hubby dropped me off to check in while he went to set up for their event the next day. Check-in was fast and we had keys in hand and on our way to our room in just a few minutes.
When I opened our door I was quite happy with our room. It was beautiful and welcoming!

The room had a full kitchen with a stove, microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher and refrigerator with ice maker and the cabinets were fully stocked. You just need to bring your own food.

The living room had an L-Shaped couch with a hide-a-bed.

This room can sleep 4-5 people with no problem. The room was also at a cool temp and we stayed cool the whole time we were there.
You can find layouts of the rooms on the Staybridge Suites website- Layouts
Scooby and I decided to explore the place. We walked around the hotel and found the PET WALK area. I travel often with my dogs and I am normally disappointed with most hotels pet potty areas.
Not this hotel! This hotel had a wonderful space for dogs to potty. There was even a picnic table where you could sit and rest. A potty station with bags and a garbage can so there is no reason for you not to clean up after your dog.

After we spent some time at the potty area, we visited the pool area. Dogs are not allowed in the pool area at most hotels. I did not see anything on the sign that said they weren't allowed here but that doesn't mean they are allowed. Please ask at the front desk before you assume they can be there.
The Staybridge Suites are ADA compliant with a chairlift in the pool. This is for those in wheelchairs can be lifted in and out of the water safely.

As you can see we had just had a downpour of rain. I had heard it thundering when I got close to the window but you really couldn't hear it in the room. I was happy about that since Scooby Doo is terrified of storms. He slept right through it.
White towel.
Why would I share a towel photo??
I am notorious for kicking over the dog's water bowl. Doesn't matter where I put it, my foot gravitates toward it and I always end up spilling it. I can't tell you how many hotels I have stayed in where I will use a towel to soak up the water and I gross out by how dirty those towels will be. NOT THIS HOTEL. The carpet was CLEAN! This really made me smile. I soaked up the water and the towel was not gross. Their carpets were CLEAN. My white socks didn't even get dirty walking on the carpet and tile. Wish I could say the same thing for MY house!

Bowling Green is a college town. They are home to the Western Kentucky University. Their mascot is Big Red. When you walk in you are greeted by Big Red.

You get free breakfast in the morning. They have a waffle maker, variety of cereals, fruits and so much more. I made myself a pecan waffle and it was so good!

I will give the Staybridge Suites a 5 ⭐ rating. I don't give that rating to many hotels but for the cleanliness, suite room, hotel staff friendliness, quietness of the room and the location, they deserve it.

The Staybridge Suites is walking distance to many restaurants and retail stores. There is a Walgreens right next door and a Big Lots across the road.

They're located on 680 Campbells Lane Bowling Green, KY.Because this is a college town, I would recommend you book early. I know they were sold out for the weekend due to Freshmen's weekend.
