Holiday Poodles

The other day a friend of mine shared a photo of something that she recently received. Now I am not one to copy anyone but my eyes lit up like a Christmas tree with extra lights!

I told hubby there was something that I needed in my life. He didn't even know what it was but took me to the store to see if they had it.

I had to get one for myself.

I am just tickled to death with my Christmas poodles. I always have a difficult time finding anything poodle at Christmas that doesn't cost a fortune. These are outdoor/indoor statues.

I don't know if I will put them outside though. If we decorate the house, I will but for now, I will keep them in the house. I can see changing their scarves for every season. They also had silver poodle ornaments! I grabbed some of them too. I am tickled pink with my new poodle goodies.

I will admit that I am not one to be excited to decorate for the holidays. I get holiday depression, on top of my usual depression and I am usually a Scrooge. I am hoping that the lift in spirits to enjoy the holidays. So far it is working.

These poodles may never see the attic where we keep all of the seasonal stuff. There may not be many presents under the tree but there is a roof over our head, food in the fridge and we have each other and our pets. That is more than some have and for that, I am blessed.

Is there any ornaments that you keep out all season??

  2. Love them! I bought a black poodle ornament from Sue at For Love of a Dog a few years ago, for my PT who had a black poodle and that was rare!

  6. I haven't decorated for the holidays since the girls came to live with me. I've been in a funk since retiring, although things are getting better.

We're thankful for all of our friends in the cat blogging world and beyond. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

    1. I suffer terribly from holiday depression. This is why you don't see much from me about holidays unless it is Easter. Easter is a fun season for me because of all the bunny stuff.
I don't normally put a Christmas tree or holiday stuff up until the last minute or until one of my family members do it for me. This is the first year I have ever put anything Christmas up early. All it took was a couple of poodles.
      Thank you for stopping by!!
