I received a email from Viva La Spa dog products saying "Viva La Dog Spa would like to make your coat more manageable and fabulous with Rescue Me! Deep Conditioner. This ultra rich moisturizing conditioner is meant for Poodles, Cotton de Tulears, Maltese, Shih Tzus, LHasa Apsos, Bichons and Bedlingtons – or any dog with very dry or matted coats". I assumed they have seen my photos on my blog and seen that I lacked luster and shine. I have been in the market for a new conditioner, this could be a good thing. I visited their website to find more information about the product and thought this sounded right up my alley. I returned the email stating I would love to give it a try.
The box arrived in no time and I just had a bath the day before , I had to wait to try out the conditioner. A couple weeks later I just happened to be out running in my favorite field and did not see that muddy spot. I tried to avoid it but the force was too strong and it sucked me up in it. (It's MY story and I am sticking to it)
The first thing I noticed was the smell. It smells wonderful! The tube is also very pretty with the pink, black and white colors and it looks like it is from a high end salon. That is 1 paw up from me.
The second thing I liked was it felt so creamy and went on easily without using half the tube like most conditioners I have used. Ma says "a little dab'll do ya."
The third thing I liked and appreciated was the fact that it came off easily. We let it set on me for about 5 minutes before rinsing. It washed off without a ton of water! Most conditioners I have used take forever to get out but not this one. Ma said she could already feel the difference in my hair and I was still wet.
|No I do not have anything in my eye. Ma winked so I winked back.|
I appreciated that after I was towel dried I was tanglefree. Ma ran my comb through my hair with no problem. This deserved all paws up but I had to wait till I was dry to see the results. Would it be heavy and weigh my hair down? Would I itch like I had fleas? Lots of questions but soon I got my answers.
I am happy to say that not only did I seem to dry a little faster , I had soft bouncy hair. This conditioner didn't make me itch , it actually relieved the itch from dry skin and it didn't weigh my hair down. I am fluffy and my hair feels and smells great.
We went to a pet store after my bath and the employee that knows me asked me if I had been to the spa because I was so fluffy. She even commented on how nice I smelled. I wanted her to pet me and when she did she said that she had never felt my hair so soft. I considered this a 2nd opinion.
I will give Rescue Me conditioner a 4 paws up rating along with a Poodale Approved stamp. I have found a product that I truly love!
I want to try the rest of their line of grooming products because not only was I happy with this conditioner ,I love the fact that their plant is ran 100% solar power! Here is a few things I absolutely love.
- We buy our bottles from a local source within 50 miles of our facility. Less footprint.
- Our website is on the only non-military SOLAR POWERED WEB HOST in the U.S.
- Our bottles, labels, bands and pumps are RECYCLABLE anywhere on the planet.
- We also PRE-CYCLE if possible!
The Rescue Me! Conditioner comes in a 4 oz bottle and retails for $10.49. You can purchase it here- Buy Now You don't have to be a poodle to use it. Remember a little dab will go a long way so this conditioner will last a long time depending on how often you get a bath.
There you have it a 4 paw approved product with a "Poodale Approved" stamp. Not many products get this approval and to top it off , my ma (human) loves the smell, the fact that its easy to use too.
*I was not paid for this review, I was given a free tube of conditioner to try out. They asked for me to post a review of the product. They did not in any way ask me to give this product a good review.
*All reviews are given in my honest opinion and I will not give a good review to something that does not meet my requirements.
*Some parts of this review about the company itself has been taken from their website. You can find it in it's entirety Here
