Thanksgiving day at mamaw's house

We were laying on the couch watching the #NationalDogShow on TV together. Jenny was rooting for the cavalier spaniel, I was rooting for the standard poodle, Scooby was sad because he didn't see anyone who looked like him and Sarah was just wanting us to get off the couch so she could take a nap. 

Good times were had by all and it made ma happy to get a photo of her kids together. 

I hope you had as great of a holiday weekend as we did. 

I am thankful for all of you who follow me on my social channels.

Tonight sissy Sarah will be home! Dad will start cooking our festive meal. Sissy and ma will be baking cakes. I look forward to all the yummy smells that will fill our house. We are having ham for our festive meal.

This week we visited our local Pet Food Center to pick up some bird seed. With the weather getting colder , ma likes to stock up. They had a sale on it so off we went. 
When we got to the store ma decided to look around. We hadn't been there in a while so she let us sniff. I don't get to sniff very often. We found some new treats and the sales girl offered us a sample to try. I won't take a treat from anyone in a store. Scooby won't take a treat because I won't take it. Ma told the girl that she would give it to us in the car and if we liked it she would come back and buy some. 

BW-A Walk Around The Lake

Saturday was a beautiful day. It started out cold but it got up to 75 degrees with the sun shining and the skies were such a pretty blue. We haven't been anywhere to run for a few days so ma decided to take us to the lake and let us stretch our legs. Today is black and white Sunday but I had to keep the lake a colored photo because I think it is beautiful and shows a perfect day.

 Fall is here and the temperatures are dropping. There are times that we turn the heat on to take the chill out of the house. Our furnace is forced gas air. That makes the air in the house really dry. With the falling temps comes a cold chihuahua. Scooby Doo does not like to be without his sweater, shirt or blanket for very long. The dry heat, the sweaters and just a lack of moisture in his skin can sure make his dander act up. He gets itchy and his fur looks like it has dandruff all over it.

I bought a leopard hat and everything! I was planning on wowing those cat ladies. They would have all gave me kisses just to wear my cool hat.

Swim Around The Molly-#Caturday Capers

The stories I could tell about Molly Mew and Scooby Doo. They are always in to something. Few times a day and a couple times at night , we get to witness the WWF (Wholly Wild Feline) smackdown.

Can't blame the cat because most of the time Scooby challenges Molly Mew and Molly Mew accepts the challenge. There are times I have to jump in to break it up for unneccasary ruffness. I am the referee.

Last nights challenge was Swim around the Molly

Scooby swims on the carpet in circles around Molly Mew. She just sits there and gives him dirty looks. She will lift one paw then slowly put it down, then she lifts the other and slowly puts it down. When he stops swimming , she smacks his ears with both paws at the same time and slams him to the ground. BOL! They are entertaining. I will give them that. 

#PetSmartGrooming Keeps This Poodle Looking Her Best

 I, being a poodle used to love to get groomed but the older I get the more I don't like it. I like my nails painted and that is about it. I use the PetSmart®  grooming services often, as you can see on my Facebook page. When Blogpaws® asked if we would be interested in applying for the campaign, we did. I am happy I got it because how often can you get paid for talking about something you love? I am a service dog which is another factor of why I need groomed often.

 Service dog team etiquette that we follow is that I shall always be clean when I am on the job. Nobody wants to eat in a restaurant ,be in a grocery store or riding on public transportation and see or smell a dirty service dog. That looks poorly on a handler. I get baths often and I get a shaved every 4 to 6 weeks but they were mostly done at home. 

Ma's back can no longer take the long grooming sessions. If she puts me on a table , the standing too long gets to her and if I am on the ground, the bending over gets to her. She does pull my ear hairs and grinds and polishes my nails. She always says that a working girl has to look good out in public. You wouldn't want your co worker to smell bad while at work , would you?

Since I do not know much about fish or their care, I decided to ask my ma some questions about fish keeping. Ma was so excited when I seen this campaign was offered and she was over the moon when she heard I got the campaign. This IS a brand she has used for years. 

Carma- State your name and rabies tag ID number

Bunny- My NAME is Bunny and I don't have a rabies tag ID number. 

Carma- Oh, okay. Well, um, how long you been keeping those fishes? 

Bunny- I have been a fish keeper since I was 10 yrs old. I won my first 3 goldfish at a fair. 

Carma- THOSE FISH IN THE POND WERE FROM WHEN YOU WERE 10 YEARS OLD?? They must be DINOSAURS! 

Bunny- No, those are not the same fish and how old do you think I am?? 

Carma- you are 336 dog years old. I know how old you are. 

Bunny- I have had many fish over the years but one of those fish in the pond is 13 yrs old. I still have the receipt where I purchased her. 

Carma- Is keeping fish easy? 

Bunny- There are some types of fish that are great starters, some that are easy to care for and then there are some that take a little more information before trying to keep them. There are different types of water types for fish also. There is saltwater, freshwater, brackish just to name the few. 

Carma- okay. That is more info than my brain can take. 

Carma- Another question , Can YOU please write this post because I am a dog and I have a treat that really needs attention.
