Corvette Adventures- Windy Hollow CampGround Picnic

On Saturday we took the top off the corvette and went for a drive. We stopped at Subway to get the parents a couple of sandwiches and then we went to Arby's to get sandwiches for us. Off on our adventures we went!

Cleaning the house sucks.

I don't like to do it but I have to. I have a vacuum that uses a bag. I have had this vacuum for 5 years and I swear it can suck the paint off the wall. Yes it is that good. Over the years, I have been falling out of love with my vacuum.

A Walk Around Our Waymond Morris Park- Local Favorite

  Happy Sunday!! 

I usually do a black and white blog post on Sunday's but I wanted to tell you all about my day yesterday. It was so fun. The sky was clear and the temperature was perfect so we took a ride in the corvette. We went to our local park called Waymond Morris Park. The park has a 1 1/2 mile walking track around it. Fishing is allowed as long as you have a license. It is a local favorite.  

The ducks were so pretty and colorful that I just have to share their beauty with you.

We are weather buffs here. When a hurricane starts, our tv's go on and don't go off until they are over. 

We found out that Davy really likes to watch that hurricane map when it is showing the rotation with the red circle. But we found out something else that he really really likes

BW Sunday- A Walk In The Woods

Yesterday was the parents 22nd year anniversary. We took a drive in the corvette out in the country. The sun was shining and the temps were perfect. Dad took the top off the car , the wind blowing through our hair and we had the 80's music blaring.

Cookie the #GuineaPig Passed Away Unexpectedly

   The other day I wanted to share something that happened at the house but my body had other plans. I ended up spending the weekend in bed not able to do much. I am getting better now but those setbacks really suck. 

   I was in the kitchen cleaning the kitty dishes after their breakfast and I had set the rag down when I could have swore I heard Cinnamon. He had a wheek that I will never forget. I stopped dead in my tracks. I brushed it off, Cinnamon is gone. 

  I reached in the fridge to grab a RC when I heard it again. He could see the kitchen from his cage and anytime we got near the refrigerator, he would start hollering wanting his veggies. I thought maybe Cookie was making sounds like him now so I didn't think nothing of it. I talked to her a little and I went in the front room to sit down. 

  All of a sudden, she started whistling with excitement. I jumped up expecting to see Davy messing with her but he was sleeping on the chair beside me, the dogs were laying on the floor and Molly Mew was outside. Cookie was standing up on her cage sides looking toward the wall. She would get down and run around her cage then stand back up and whistle some more. 

What the heck did she see??
